Our unique wetsuit has a breath powered hand heating system. Via a mouth piece and tubes that mainly run along the inside of the suit to your hands you can exhale warm breath into your gloves or palm less mittens when ever your hands ask you to do so.

LIMITED INTRODUCTORY OFFER – Until we have enough pioneers out there proving the battle with cold hands is over.  To expand our pioneer location coverage, for a very limited time, we are offering the suit for £250 (£100 off) together with a 6 week full refund guarantee.  See store for details.

At first glance we know this looks strange!  There can be only one reason we have brought this to the market – it really works, no more cold hands. Our test in minus 3°C and falling snow is here http://youtu.be/kGNPHHI-NCw . Plus Igor a kite surfers blog just after storm Nemo in the US, he surfed in minus 7°C plus knee deep snow   http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/2013/02/life-after-nemo.html

A blog from a pioneer customer from Cape Cod USA, suit test in 4°C - http://boardsurfr.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/no-more-cold-hands-ianovated-wetsuit.html.”I think this would be my favorite suit amongst the three suits I own, because it is very warm and easy to swim in. With the tubing, which works wonderfully to keep my hands warm, the Ianovated wetsuit is simple a stroke of genius”

The coolest thing we can do is push our sailing barrier forward. This system lets you capture and enjoy winters better winds and waves. Laugh at this wetsuits appearance at your own peril.

Get this wetsuit out on the sub 11°C days when your current winter wetsuit just does not look after you. It is a 5/4mm, rear horizontal dry zip, loose upper body fitting steamer. Smooth skin or nylon lined. Made in China by a long establish company just like every other branded wetsuit: Smooth Skin= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hl3afIr7YaA. Nylon lined= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzadjulnifk

In the sub 10°C conditions you will be amazed by how long just 2 to 3 breaths down this system will then keep your hands comfortable. Most of the time the mouth piece can rest against your chest waiting  for the next time your fingers ask you to use it. Bare hand boom grip using cut back palm-less mittens IMGP0202http://youtu.be/yW445jschxw  Cut the hole larger so your fingers also have a clean boom grip. Have the tube end at the finger tips. It will warm the boom up as well. No more forearm cramps

With gloves.  All 5 glove fingers inflate with your warm breath http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z89zi0nkpnY&feature=g-upl

A neutral tensioned strap around the wrist will help get all 5 fingers of the glove to inflate before the breath escapes.

The mouth piece loop pulls apart easily if snagged / to feed through a bouyancy aid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbf7PzFcNdw&feature=youtu.be

All suits are sold with red plugs so that you can remove the heating system and turn the suit into a normal winter steamer.
The tubes are totally comfortable because of the wetsuits loose fit across the shoulders and along the arms. The system only works because the tubes go along the inside of the suit for most of the journey from the mouth to the hands. You can not feel water going into the tubes, the system does not let water into the suit. All suits are sold with a spare set of tubes that are a less visible black colour! However we thank all our pioneers for being proud of their white tubes.

“now the phoney war is  over and we’re into November, its good to have the hand-heating suit ready for use through the winter.  Its good to focus on the moves rather than sail defensively to avoid the rinsings.    If you’re not falling in,  you’re not trying!”.           DavidNaylor. Ianovated pioneer 9th Nov 12

I definitely did get to test the heating system, it was so good but for reasons I didn’t expect…..The other 2 had quit due to cold, I genuinely hadn’t felt it. It was the not realising how cold it was that surprised me, the others were really struggling and I felt I could carry on. Ian Barratt Ianovated Pioneer 29 Nov 12
