James Dinsmore GBR659

JamesDinsmoreBSASlalom

James purchased his Ianovated suit back in Jan 2013 just after it had been introduced to the market. Back then he had to learn how to open and close the back entry suit dry zip on his own because he was often the only one out on the water, the conditions being too cold for the traditional wetsuit systems. James has been the British Slalom Association pro class champion  for 2013, 2014 and 2015. The Ianovated hand heating system enables him to train through the winter and turn up to the first race of the season in top form.

Brian Rosenkilde Røgild DEN173

BrianRogildMar16Denmark’s champion windsurfer Brian enjoyed 10 years travelling the world competing in the PBA and PWA. He bought his Ianovated suit in Dec 2015. In an email he reported back – “Today the suit had its first real test,  2 degrees and ice on the grass we rigged on and it passed big time. I did blow every time it got a little cold on the hands,  i never got a burner and my hands where really hot when i left the water. No problems with cramps in the forearms. That was Perfect. “

Luke Smith Starboard / Severne team freestyle sailor

Luke Smith

Luke is seen here competing in the 2015 Tiree Wave Classic in the Ianovated suit he had just purchased. It was too warm to need the hand heating tubes that week. Luke finished the event with 6th in the ams fleet and two weeks later gained 2nd in the ams British freestyle championship at Weymouth.

Sweden’s top speed sailor Anders has been using the Ianovated system since the very first 2013 winter. The conclusion of his blog titled “the final solution for colds hands” simply says  “I believe all winter surfers (also kite) will buy this or a similar suit within a few years“.  http://www.andersbq.com/2013/02/the-final-solutions-for-cold-hands.html

David Naylor – Sponsored wave and freestyle sailor, Scotland

Vulcan

David first took the Ianovated wetsuit to the 2012 Tiree Wave Classic event and his fist text back read – “Hi ian, a few iphone pics from a play about today. The heating system undoubtedly works” As a tribute to Dave’s local fame and dedication to the sport Boards mag gave Dave a full page write up in 2011. If  a news paper publishes a picture of a madman windsurfing on the Scottish sea in a violent gale, the chances are it is Dave. He has since bought a guest house on Tiree where he now lives and sales most days. The Ianovated solution to the cold hand problem is worth a lot to Dave. He in turn gives us a regular feed of material for our facebook page.
